What is Growler Pals?

Growler Pals is a mug club membership program that offers various benefits including special glass mugs, growler fills, and exclusive perks at Black Hammer Brewing locations.

What's new for 2025?

The 2025 program introduces several updates:
- New laser-etched glass mugs
- Enhanced customization options for VIP members (mug design and fill day selection)
- New Lifetime membership options

When does enrollment begin and end?
Enrollment for 2025 is currently open, and will continue for the year. However, membership expires on March 31st, 2026, regardless of enrollment date.

What membership tiers are available?

There are five tiers:
1. Basic
2. VIP
3. Double VIP
4. Lifetime VIP
5. Lifetime Double VIP

What's included in the Basic membership?
- Limited edition >20oz etched glass beer mug
- 64 oz. limited edition growler
- 25% bonus beer
- Weekly mug fills
- Quarterly Beer Drops, when you get a mug fill on a Friday, a freshly canned four-pack of BHB beer, and an included growler fill
- Weekly half-price growler fills
- Growler Pal Bash Tickets

What additional benefits come with VIP membership?
VIP members get all Basic benefits plus:
- Choice of weekly fill day


What's the difference between VIP and Double VIP?
Double VIP membership includes:
- Benefits at both Black Hammer Brewing locations
- Separate club days for each location

What are the Lifetime membership options?

Lifetime memberships (both VIP and Double VIP) offer the same benefits as their annual counterparts but remain valid for the member's lifetime.

Where can I use my membership?

- Basic and VIP memberships are valid at either Willkommen at 2198 Market Street or the Brewery at 544 Bryant Street, both in San Francisco
- Double VIP memberships are valid at both locations

When can I start using my membership?

Your membership begins two weeks immediately after your purchase, and you can show your shopify receipt to your bartender to use your membership on your fill days. 
The initial mug, shirt and keychain pickup day in 2025 will be March 7th, 2025, where members can collect their:
- Growler and fill
- Mug and fill
- 4-pack
- Growler Pals T-Shirt
- Numbered Keychain

If you signed up after February 18th, your pickup day will be within one week of signing up for membership.

What are the regular membership perks?

Daily:
- ~25% more draft beer
- 20% off all merch purchases

Weekly:
- Included Mug fill
- 50% off growler fills

Quarterly:
- Included Growler fill
- Included Freshly canned mix-pack

Yearly:
- 2 Tickets to Growler Pals Mug Club Bash
-Advance tastings
-Secret Taps (when available)
-Other cool stuff!

When are the special pickup days?

There are four quarterly pickup days throughout the year, featuring special food and drink deals for members.

How do I join?

1. Choose your preferred membership tier
2. Complete registration before December 1, 2024, to secure discounted pricing
3. Attend pickup day to collect your membership items
4. Enjoy the delicious benefits of membership!

Is there a limit to membership?
Yes, space is limited!

Can I give a membership as a gift?
Of course! Please contact us after placing your order to assign the membership to the correct person.

I missed my one of my quarterly beer drops, can I swing by by another time?
Sure, no problem! Just stop by within two weeks after the date, and we'll take care of you.

I want to share the members-only beer with a friend... can I?
Sure can! Any Growler Pal exclusives can be purchased for anyone, as long as a Growler Pal is making the purchase. Bring your thirsty friends!
